Park Homes - can we have a Heat Pump?
Yes! A Park Home is a perfect place for a heat pump installation!
As of April 2026, Residential Park Homes were officially added to the list of eligible properties that qualify for a government grant towards heat pump installation.
Most Park Homes are currently heated by LPG or kerosene systems, both of which are highly vulnerable to global price fluctuations. We regularly hear from customers paying over £100 for a single LPG bottle, and others who have seen their kerosene costs rise to several times higher than any previous “high” price they’d paid.
A properly installed heat pump can dramatically reduce the energy required to heat a Park Home. As with every installation, we carry out a full heat loss survey to determine whether any radiators need upgrading or resizing to ensure the system performs at its best.
From July 2026, any home heated by LPG or kerosene will qualify for an enhanced government grant of £9,000 towards a heat pump installation. In most cases, this means no customer contribution at all.
